"Every father should remember one day his son will follow his example, not his advice."

Greetings Fit Rich Fam!

Happy Father's Day to all Dads who act as positive role models for their children!

I am feeling especially grateful for my Dad whose lifelong habit of massive amounts of reading, learning, ongoing personal study, and self-development is a habit, mindset & lifestyle I've inherited. I feel very lucky & privileged that both my parents modeled this for me. It definitely plays a huge part in how I show up in the world today.

I still fondly remember my Dad playing personal development audio programs & audiobooks on tape during car rides. Listening & learning while driving, traveling, walking, & doing chores like cleaning & cooking is something I've been doing for decades now thanks to the example my Dad set for me while growing up.

Without further ado, let's proactively build your Fit Rich Life—FRL! Your weekly dose of actionable tips, tools & strategies to alchemize your Fitness, Money & Life to the Next Level.

FITNESS: Build your strength for longevity & healthspan.
The leading indicator for longevity & healthspan is strength. This is built through resistance training activities like lifting weights. No matter what, you should be incorporating some strength training into your weekly routine. There are tons of different ways to do this so find one that is fun for you & make it a habit.

MONEY: Create generational wealth
Generational wealth can come in multiple forms--money, stocks, land & even things like hard work & tenacity. I feel fortunate that both my parents taught me the value of hard work, tenacity & entrepreneurship. This empowered me to go on to create my own material wealth.  So whether or not your parents left you any wealth in the form of money, investments or land be sure to cultivate the non-material wealth they provided as an instrument to aid in the accumulation of your own material wealth. If your parents didn't pass on any wealth of any kind then be the parent you wish you'd had in that regard.

LIFE: Cultivate a joyful attitude.
I consider one of my superpowers to be my joyful attitude. Throughout my lifetime I've had colleagues & clients claim this to be one of the main reasons they love to work with me or chose to work with me.  I inherited this trait from my Dad. I consider it a force multiplier that results in a deeper connection with others, improved life quality & opens doors to countless opportunities. At the end of the day, would you rather work with someone who sparks joy in you or someone who doesn't?
